Christmas 2009

   After God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary to tell her the great news that she will be with child and give birth to a son whom she will call Jesus, she visits her cousin Elizabeth (who at the time was pregnant with John the Baptist) in the hill country of Judea.  According to the Gospel of Luke, during their visit, Mary says:

   "My soul glorifies the Lord
 47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
 48for he has been mindful
      of the humble state of his servant.
   From now on all generations will call me blessed,
 49for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name.
 50HIS MERCY EXTENDS TO THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION.
 51He has performed mighty deeds with his arm;
      he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
 52He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.
 53HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD

THINGS but has sent the rich away empty.
 54He has helped his servant Israel,
      remembering to be merciful
 55to Abraham and his descendants forever,
      even as he said to our fathers."

      How comforting and true were the words of Mary.  We look forward to the day in which Christ makes his final and glorious return, but until then we remain joyful in all the blessings and love God provides for us daily.  We pray that you have a wonderful Christmas full of blessings.  Thank you for blessing this ministry as we truly are in great need of your help!

      We are so thankful for your support in making this ministry possible.  As always, we are committed to sharing with our boys the miracle of Christmas, which is found in the greatest gift in history.  Our prayer is that God will bless you this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
