Have you ever wanted to work in home missions, and do you have a heart for children? Boys Farm is a Christ-centered organization that provides a nurturing Christian home for boys in a residential setting.  We are hiring married couples to live full time with 5-8 boys in a home and to make a transformative impact in their lives.   As a House Parent, you will manage the children in your house, and will be part of a team like-minded couples on our campus. You will help establish and maintain a steady daily routine for the children that you are responsible for, including: waking up, breakfast, transportation to school or appointments, daily chores and daily leisure activities and exercise, study time, personal hygiene, devotions and bedtime. You will keep medical files and related reports for children, and also manage school and extracurricular special activities. You will maintain inspection-ready upkeep of the cottage facility and vehicle, with safety as your top priority. You will participate in regular, ongoing training, and you will model and teach daily living skills to children under your care.  Boys Farm is situated on 300 acres right outside the City of Newberry, with a picturesque 5K nature trail, stocked ponds, and ball fields.  Our campus is located close to Lake Murray and Lake Greenwood, 1.5 hours from the mountains, and 3 hours to the beach! We are looking for married couples who would like to live and work on our beautiful residential campus with other like-minded families.  Newberry is a charming town with a “movie-set-like” downtown, year-round festivals & activities, and complete with the famous Newberry Opera House and Newberry College.  We are centrally located between Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach!  If you are interested in being an agent of change in young people’s lives please contact us, we can also provide relocation assistance.  Contact us today!
